FULL ROLE DESCRIPTIONS

  • Case Workers are the heart of our recipient services, conducting intake interviews, managing case files, and supporting zakat recipients through the process from start to finish. This role is a great fit for someone with a compassionate nature and a passion for direct community service.

  • Outreach Coordinators help grow Ansar NC's reach by engaging individual donors, connecting with local businesses, and educating the broader community about zakat. If you're a people person who loves representing a cause you believe in, this role is for you.

  • This volunteer will build our new WordPress site while keeping our current Squarespace site running in the meantime. Ideal for someone with web design experience who wants to make a tangible impact on how our organization shows up online.

  • Community Resource Managers cultivate relationships with local businesses and service providers to create pathways of support for our recipients beyond direct financial aid. A great fit for someone with a knack for networking and building partnerships.

  • Operations Volunteers are our on-the-ground support, handling deliveries, pickups, drop-offs, and whatever else needs doing to keep things moving. If you have a car, some flexibility, and a willingness to help, this role is for you.

  • Our Social Media Manager owns Ansar NC's presence on Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp, managing our content calendar, engaging with our community online, and helping spread the word about our work. Ideal for someone creative who wants to use their skills for a meaningful cause.
